Day 1: from Ouarzazate to Merzouga Desert Via the Rose Valley with Todra Gorges and Erfoud.

Leave-taking We will begin our 2-day tour from Ouarzazate to Merzouga Desert after breakfast. We will take the “Mille Kasbah” road to the impressive Todra Gorges, a hiking haven. Along the river Todra, then we take a stroll amid large rocks for lunch. We will then continue towards the town of Erfoud to discover extremely ancient fossil quarries. Finally we arrive at Erg Chebbi, the enormous dunes of Merzouga.We will ascend the dromedaries in the afternoon and head into the desert, where we will stay the night in a Berber tent. As we proceed, we will witness the enormous dune’s dawn and sunset. They will play traditional music Berber “drums” music, after your Berber dinner.

Day 2: from Merzouga Desert to Ouarzazate through the Rissani Souk With Tazarine city and the magical Draa Valley, Agdez.

If you get up early, you can witness the sunrise, which is a magnificent sight with the dunes’ sky and the shadow play. Following breakfast, we travel back to Merzouga by camel. After relaxing, we drive to Ouarzazate, passing through the villages of Rissani, Alnif, Tazzarine (which is now featured in the film “Babel”), and E Nqob, where we have lunch.
