A perfect way to spend two days traveling from Fez to Chefchaouen, one of Morocco’s most beautiful cities. The first day of the tour departs from your accommodation at 8:30 am. You will meet your guide/driver at your hotel/riad in Fez and take a private 4×4 vehicle to the Blue Pearl of Morocco.
Once in Chefchaouen, you will wander at your leisure and explore the traditional cafes, narrow streets with blue and white painted walls, and historic medina, learning about the local way of life. A day trip to the beautiful village of Chefchaouen from Fes will allow you to explore the cafes, historic center, and bluish architecture of this mountain community in the Rif. Itinerary of 2 Days trip from Fes to Chefchaouen

Day 1: Fes to Chefchaouen via Rif mountains & Ouazzan

After breakfast in the riad or hotel, we begin our 2-day journey from Fes to Chefchaouen. Our driver/guide will pick you up and take you through the picturesque landscapes of the Rif mountains. Chefchaouen is a well-known Moroccan destination that welcomes thousands of tourists every year. It is a charming and quiet town in the middle of the Rif Mountains, north of the Mediterranean Sea.
The city’s signature color is a range of soothing blue hues that immediately lower blood pressure. Chefchaouen is called the “blue pearl” or the “blue city” of Morocco because of the seductive talc or chalk paint that covers its buildings.
Stroll through the blue-and-white walls of the medina and its markets, which sell interesting local handicrafts. Spend the night in a riad or bed-and-breakfast hotel; Chefchaouen is a great place for photography with its stunning views of the Rif mountains.

Day 2: Chefchaouen to Fes via Volubilis and Meknes.

After breakfast in the morning, we will travel to Volubilis by crossing the Rif Mountains and passing through Ouazzan and other Rif villages. Once in Volubilis, we will explore the Roman ruins and learn about the historical significance of Morocco. Following our visit to this historical site, we will proceed to the city of Meknes, where we will pause for lunch and spend some time exploring the enormous ancient walls of the medina, Ba el Mansour, and visiting the sanctuary of Moulay Ismail. Our 2-day journey from Fes to Chefchaoune will come to an end when we return to Fes after our visit to Meknes.
